Player roundup (week ending 31 Oct)

Luke Ferrara registered an assist on Bordeaux's 4th goal in a 7-2 victory over Briancon last Tuesday night.

Andrew Johnston scored and also got an assist in the game both on the powerplay.

Since Ferrara joined, the Boxers have won 4 out of 5 games in the Ligue Magnus moving up to third place, although they have played more games than anyone else.

Bordeaux next play Cergy-Pontoise at home on 13th November.

Dillon Lawrence's France2 season with Dunkerque Corsaires has begun with 2 wins and a defeat. Dunkerque have also managed to progress through two rounds of the French Cup, however this weekend saw all games cancelled due to COVID restrictions.


Janne Laakkonen's Lustenau began their Alps Hockey League season on Friday, falling 3-1 to Salzburg 2.

They were due to meet Steel Wings Link on Saturday, but due to COVID related issues the game was cancelled.

They are next scheduled to face Vipiteno away from home on 12th November.

COVID is also having an effect in the Danish Metal Ligaen as Charlie Corcoran's Esbjerg had their game on Tuesday vs. Herlev Eagles cancelled due to infection in Herlev's squad.

Esbjerg did however take to the ice on Friday, beating Herning Blue Box 4-2 as they moved to third in the league.
