One of the original founders of the club, Andy Buxton has spent 14 years as Blaze Chairman. Andy's dedication to the sport has seen him act as General Manager for the Great Britain Ice Hockey Team since 2007 as well as serving as an Ambassador for the City of Coventry.

Another original founder of the club, Mike Cowley has been Managing Director of the Blaze for 14 years and has vast experience in British Ice Hockey. Mike is the club's director on the Elite League board and serves as a director of Ice Hockey UK. He is also ice hockey's representative on the British Olympic Committee.

Paul Thompson has been Head Coach of the Blaze since its inception and after 16 years service to the same club is now Europe's longest serving Head Coach. He became a co-owner of the team in 2004 and has primary responsibility for the full hockey operations side of the club's business. Paul also serves as an Ambassador of the City of Coventry and has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Coventry University in recognition of his service to ice hockey.
