The Coventry Blaze have a rich and storied history in the Elite Ice Hockey League.

Winners of the league Championship on four occasions (including back-to-back successes 2006/07 and 2007/08), also lifting the Playoff title and Challenge Cup twice each.

This includes a Grand Slam in 2004/05. The club have competed internationally in the IIHF Continental Cup five times.

 

 

Former players of the organisation include current Boston Bruins forward Matt Beleskey and the late Wade Belak, then of Toronto Maple Leafs.

The club has retired the jersey of British defenceman Stephen Cooper for his services to the UK game, and lifted the #25 and #26 of Adam Calder (video) and Dan Carlson (video) to the rafters, alongside #12 Steve Chartrand. In the 2017/18 season the #17 of Russell Cowley, who leads the club for all-time appearances was also be raised to the Skydome roof.
