Blaze ENL back in training

The Coventry ENL Blaze are pleased to confirm that next season they will be retaining the coaching partnership set up of, former senior Blaze player Joel Poirier as Head Coach who will again be working in partnership with Reg Wilcox currently GB Women's head coach, supported by Andy Henry.

They will be looking to strengthen the Coventry squad and build upon the achievements of the team last season. "Next year we aim to be challenging for silverware, we pushed the best teams in this league very hard last year, next year, with what we have learned, and the experience we have gained we're going to be raising our expectations", said Joel.

Reg Wilcox added "Last year was a steep learning curve for a lot of our guys - but they exceeded all expectations, the plan for next year is to build on what we have learned and win trophies".

Joel said, "We're back in training on 15th April at the Skydome and will be actively looking to strengthen the team. We'll train for six weeks until the rink shuts for maintenance in June then carry on with the trials again in July".

He added, "We are developing a thoroughly professional set-up here at Coventry and if like-minded, talented young players are interested in trying out for the Blaze ENL team then they should contact me via email - joel@elite-therapy.com".
