Weber pleased to see players rewarded
Genting Casino Coventry Blaze Head Coach Chuck Weber spoke glowingly about double scorer's Jordan Pietrus and Jim Jorgensen following last night's 5-1 victory over the Sheffield Steelers at the Skydome Arena.
Pietrus, who joined Blaze in early October hit his 16th and 17th Elite League goal of the season, whilst American defenceman, Jorgensen grabbed his 4th and 5th.
"Piety (Jordan Pietrus) gets rewarded because he's the hardest working guy during the week. Character is revealed when no one else is looking. He puts in so much work in practice. He and Fish (Drew Fisher) stay until the zamboni comes on the ice every single day. Even when he has a class, he stays until the very end and then has to run to class! He's been a huge addition to this club." - Chuck Weber
"Jorgy plays so much hockey for us, power-play, penalty-kill, tough shut down assignments. He was a big part of us winning a championship last year with Mark Smith. Whether he's been playing with Nobes (Kevin Noble) or Boris (Valabik) he has been fantastic for us. His goal at the end of the first period was a huge timely goal. It was a perfectly placed shot."
