Venus to play in New Zealand Ice Hockey League
Genting Casino Coventry Blaze forward Ross Venus will spend the summer competing in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League with the Canterbury Red Devils.

The 24-year-old who recently committed to a new two-year deal with the Blaze, taking him to ten seasons with the club will fly out to New Zealand shortly to join the Devils for the 16-game season that begins on Saturday 26th May and will end early August.
Since their foundation in 2005, Canterbury Red Devils have won both the regular season title and the playoffs on four occasions with their most recent coming in the 2014 NZIHL season.
Head Coach of the Devils Anatoly Khorozov, said, "Ross Venus is an exciting player and I am delighted he has accepted a last-minute call-up."
