Season Ticket Sales “very pleasing” says Coleman
The Elite League season may be over but for Genting Casino Coventry Blaze Operations Manager Rob Coleman and other members of the off-ice team, the work never stops.
This afternoon we caught up with him to discuss the current goings on and receive an update on Season Ticket sales for the 2016/17 campaign.
“In between clearing out player's houses and early morning airport runs, we are starting to prepare for the new season which includes processing the huge amount of season ticket applications which we have been receiving, so there are many things for us to do," said Rob. We evaluate every aspect of the club and try to improve where we can off-ice. As Chuck (Weber) would say, 'it’s not our first Rodeo' and with the off-ice team being the same for the past five years we have a good bond. We know how each other works and we get good input from, everyone when we meet. We all want the club to do well and each area needs to be at its best off the ice.”
With the deadline to take advantage of the Early bird offer on season tickets fast approaching, Rob goes on to ask that all supporters get their application forms in before 29th April to guarantee their seat and benefit from the discounts offered.
“Sales are really good so far, we are very pleased,” said Coleman. “One of the most pleasing things is the new names we are seeing for next season. We were aware that we had a lot of new faces coming to games, particularly in the second half of the season, and this has really come to light whilst processing season ticket applications. We appreciate all of our fans, new and old, but you get a bit of a buzz when you see a new name and this office has been buzzing a lot over the last couple of weeks since the season tickets went on general sale!
“On Monday I am sending out an email to the existing fans who have not renewed yet, continued Rob. The Early bird offer finishes on 29th of April and we want everyone to have the chance to book their seat again for next season. There are a number of different payment options for people as we are aware everyone has different circumstances. If anyone has any queries, they can feel free to contact me to discuss and we will try and help out as much as we can.”
