The puck dropped for the ECHL season over the weekend with David Broll, Justin Hamonic, Johnny Curran and C.J. Motte all returning to the ice.

Broll began with a goal in each of Indy Fuel's two victories; 4-3 over Kansas City and 3-2 against Wheeling Nailers.

Curran grabbed an assist in a 3-2 win for Wichita Thunder vs. Hamonic's Tulsa Oilers, who in their second game of the weekend beat Motte's Allen American's 4-3. 

Back in Europe, Luke Ferrara has 3 goals in 5 games for Krakow who have won 3 and lost 2 since the Brit's arrival.

Finnish forward Janne Laakkonen, who began the season in the Alps Hockey League with EHC Lustenau has moved to Norway and Narvik.

Narvik currently sit bottom of the Norwegian league with just 5 points from 19 games.

In 8 games with Lustenau, Laakkonen registered 9 points (2 goals, 7 assists).  

Andrew Johnston sits on 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) in 9 games for Bordeaux. Dillon Lawrence has a goal and 2 assists in 3 games for Dunkerque.

In Denmark, Charles Corcoran has helped Esbjerg move to third in the Metal Liagen with 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) in 22 games.
