Marr moves to Swindon
British netminder Renny Marr will play in the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) with Swindon Wildcats for the 2017/18 season.
The 19-year-old Scot has spent the past two seasons with the Genting Casino Coventry Blaze as back-up to Canadian Brian Stewart.
Icing in more than ten Elite League games, Marr has established himself as the number one for Team GB under-20's.
Blaze Director of Hockey Operations, James Pease said, "Renny is a great guy and we like him as a goalie. He has been given a great opportunity to get regular ice time with a good organisation and we won't stand in his way of that. The door is never closed for Renny in Coventry and if we are able to help him in anyway as he looks to continue his development then we will be open to that. For now though, we thank him for his time and wish him all the best as he looks to establish himself in the NIHL."
