Halloween jerseys: A change of plan

The Genting Casino Coventry Blaze were scheduled to wear special edition Five-on-3 Halloween jerseys for tonight's game against the Cardiff Devils (28/10/18).

Unfortuantely, due to a misunderstanding between the two clubs, the Cardiff Devils arrived in Coventry with only their black road jerseys, meaning after warm-up, the Blaze will be required to switch to their light blue Challenge Cup jerseys instead for the fixture.

The club would like to apologise to any fans who will be dissapointed by this news.

The Five-on-3 Halloween jerseys will now instead be worn in the game vs. Fife Flyers, next Sunday 4th November.

The auction for the jerseys will also be extended until the puck-drop for the third period of that game vs. Fife.

Kevin Morris' Halloween Jersey will be moved to the Southam Agri game-worn match night prize vs. Fife.

Tonight vs. Cardiff, the Southam Agri game-worn match-night prize will now be a #9 Ben Lake Challenge Cup jersey.

Challenge Cup Jersey auction

Tonight, vs. Cardiff Devils, instead the Challenge Cup Jersey auction will finish on the puck drop for the third period.

The final two minutes will be a silent auction held at the Fanzone (open end of the arena).

The Challenge Cup Jerseys available in the auction are as follows:

#33 Nicolai Bryhnisveen

#14 Alex Forbes

#90 Tim Crowder

#91 Kelin Ainsworth

If you have bought a Challenge Cup jersey outright, you can collect it after the game tonight straight off the players back, or from the Fanzone at another Blaze match-night.
