Starting with a home game against the Nottingham Panthers in the Challenge Cup on Sunday 4th September, the first Elite League regular season game will be against Erhardt Conference rivals, the Belfast Giants at the Skydome Arena on Sunday 11th September.
Elite League competition rules remain the same, so Blaze will play each team in their own conference (the Erhardt) eight times (four at home and four away), whilst they will face those in the other Conference (Gardiner) four times (twice at home and twice away).
Challenge Cup groupings will also be the same as last season, with Blaze competing for a spot in the quarter finals with Nottingham Panthers, Sheffield Steelers, Manchester Storm and Cardiff Devils.
Notable fixtures for Blaze include; the popular double-header weekend in Belfast on Friday 21st October and Saturday 22nd October before a home game against the Cardiff Devils in the Challenge Cup on Sunday 23rd October to round off a thrilling weekend for fans.
Taking on board fan feedback, Blaze have also ensured a Scotland triple-header from Friday 18th November, where Danny Stewart's side will travel North to take on the Dundee Stars, before moving on to play the Fife Flyers on Saturday 19th November and concluding the trip at Murrayfield against the Edinburgh Capitals on Sunday 20th November.
The Christmas period will be as busy as ever for the club and its fans, facing Sheffield Steelers twice in the run-up to the big day, away on Wednesday 21st December and at home on Thursday 22nd.
Cardiff Devils will travel to the Skydome on Boxing Day (Monday 26th December), before Blaze go to Ice Arena Wales on Tuesday 27th. Two days later (Thursday 29th), the Nottingham Panthers come to the Skydome and then the year will end at the National Ice Centre on New Year's Eve (Saturday 31st December).
The final run-in to the Elite League season will see Blaze face-off against Fife Flyers at home (Saturday 11th March), Belfast Giants away (Saturday 18th March), Braehead Clan home (Sunday 19th March) and finally away at Sheffield Steelers (Sunday 26th March).
Before the competitive fixtures get underway, don't forget Blaze have a bumper pre-season planned which includes a home game against German Oberliga Champions, the Tilburg Trappers and a bank-holiday clash with the Cardiff Devils (see full details here).
Danny Stewart's era as Blaze Head Coach will begin against the Nottingham Panthers at the Skydome Arena on Wednesday 24th August with a 7.30pm puck-drop.
